general track rules (spec slash rules @ bottom of page)
- First and foremost, Roost is a ROAR affiliated track. A Roar membership is required to participate. ROAR rules shall be followed.
- We will not tolerate profanity and or any other unprofessional actions. Fighting will not be tolerated.
- Anyone caught fighting may be suspended from the day's events.
- All lipo batteries must be charged in a safe charging sack and be monitored at all times.
- Everyone do his or her part to be safe.
- Watch your kids and others.
- Do not sit your car on the track while other cars are racing.
- Turn marshals may not work on or repair cars.
- Turn marshals must be over the age of 16.
- Spectators shall remain behind the fence or lines drawn.
- Any cars damaged during a race will be placed in the infield and remain there until that race is over.
- All drivers must turn marshal the race immediately following their race.
- All track users agree to and sign the track waiver form and by doing so confirm that they have read these terms and conditions.
- While racing or doing turn marshal duties at track, each track user agrees to sign an indemnity to openly state that they wave any and all rights.
- They agree to conduct themselves in a proper manner and have their own and others safety
in their minds at all times. - Alcohol is not permitted.
- They agree not to hold anyone responsible for any injury or damage to themselves , family members, spectators, personal property.
- They agree to take responsibility for their personal belongings items left in their car
or on a repair station and hold no blame to anyone including property owner for any loss
by theft, accident, or act of god. - They acknowledge that Rc racing can be dangerous.
- They agree not to step or stand on the retaining wall of the race track it was designed to keep the Rc cars in the track area and not support the weight of a person.
- Parents of small children agree that they are responsible for them at all time within the confine of the facility and that no pets are allowed at the speedway facility at all .
- They understand that any non-conformity with these regulations will allow the property owner to have them leave the premises.
- In order to maintain the track surface flat bottom rubber sole shoes ( Tennis shoes or boots ) will be worn.
- No open toed shoes, period.
Spec Slash Rules
This Class is basically for the Ready-To-Run version of the Traxxas 2wd Slash as it comes in the box. These rules were designed so somebody can pick up and go to Tarlton's in Easton, Madera Hobby in the Ranchos, Rainman in Bako, or OCRC, or an Rcinsider race and be compliant.

- Box stock brushed, except for radio, battery (2s lipo, 6 or 7 cell NiMh only), gearing(18/90 recommended), shock oil.
- Painting your own body is OK, but only Traxxas OE bodies (PN 6811 recommended)
- RPM front and rear hub carriers and caster blocks
- Change the plug on the speed control.
Additional Rules:
- Lastly, it’s a fun class. If you have to ask, it’s not legal.
- Trackside “tire saucing” prohibited. Water only.
